The sequins are Pretty Pink Posh. I used a corner punch from Fiskars.
White cardstock is Recollections, green is PTI.

Hope you will stop by the Blog and join us this month for some inspiration and fun!!!

Love is in the air

Hello all!!!

How are things?
I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of some goodies by mail...but the postman delivery service has been slow. Probably due to the lame weather we have been having...sigh*

Can anyone suggest a good movie to watch? I feel like I have seen them all...nothing good anymore! My latest favorites have been The Book Thief, The Painted Veil, Stranger Than Fiction, and The Illusionist.

So, today I am playing along with Color Throwdown...

I just purchased two stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps and couldn't wait to ink them up!

This set is called Lighter Than Air...so cute! I practiced a little masking with the birds and balloons.  I mentioned how much I like Recollections white cardstock...I also picked up kraft and black but have not yet tried them...I will keep you posted. Green and pink cardstock are Papertrey Ink.

I used memento black ink to stamp the images and Copic Markers to color.
The pattern paper is Teresa Collins, Save the Date. I used the hearts banners dies from Lil'Inker Designs.

Great Job

Hello there!

I am just sitting here watching the snowflakes falling...wishing I was in Florida  Aruba!!!!
I am officially tired of the white stuff...but it could be worse!

Just playing along with some challenges...

Paper Smooches SPARKS...anything goes

Michaels was having a good sale the other day. So I stocked up on some Copic Markers and put them to good use today. I pulled out Paper Smooches, Smarty Pants. This is such a fun set!

I made this card for my son. He did very well on his last report card and received a good review from his second grade teacher.
I used the stitched die star from Lil'Inker Designs and embossed the sentiment (Smarty Pants)  in white embossing powder.

The white cardstock is Recollections. I prefer this over any other white cardstock. It is crisp and heavy and has a nice texture. The blue cardstock is Papertrey Ink. Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!!!

Stay warm...if that's possible!

The large bird is from Deck the Halls, the small bird and fence are from Home Tweet Home, and Wagon Add-on...dies can be found here...( I used the Thanks Snow Much die set to die cut grass).

Hey there crafters!
How are you all enjoying the weather?
It's been very cold and snowy here in the North East...I am wishing for sunnier/warmer days!

I have a card to share with you...I'm playing along with Curtain Call...

and CAS on Sunday...

I only have one donut stamp...I can't believe it!!!! I really can't believe it!!! I have cup cakes and pies but no donuts!!! So I spent most of the afternoon searching for some dessert stamps!

Today I used Sweet & Sassy Stamps, So Sweet Cocoa. I stamped the sentiment and image with black ink from memento. I used Copic Markers to color.

I added the chevron after masking the donut with ink from Color Box in parchment. The chron stamp set is from Clearly Besotted Stamps. I used a white gel pen for some accents. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh, the enamel dots are from Recollections.
