Paper Sweeties July Inspiration Challenge #33 - Red, White & Blue

Hello there!
It's time for a new challenge with Paper Sweeties...

It's all about the red, white and blue...
For this card I pulled out two Paper Sweeties stamp sets, Scarecrow:Stand Add-on and Happy Everything. I fussy cut the 'HAPPY' sentiment but used the scarecrow die, Sweet Cuts Stand Add-on.   I miss this scarecrow...this poor guy needed to come out for some fresh air! I think he looks cute dressed in patriotic attire!

I stamped the images with black ink from Memento and colored them with Copic Markers. I added some white accents with a white gel pen. The blue and red twine , called Apple Pie, can also be found in the Sweeties Shop!!! I added just a hue of Color Box ink in surf to the background.

I hope you can play along with us this month...

Hey there!
I just wanted to share some cards with you in between my Paper Sweeties posts...
First up, I'm playing along with
The topping is to use an animal
This has been a most frustrating card for me....
I used a whole lotta masking for the cluster of party goers!  I must have tried five times to get the position just right...than while coloring, I added an extra body part to the! But the real upset is...after I uploaded my pics I realized it looks like I decorated a marble I right? I can't get past's a green notebook:(

I used two sets from WPlus9, Happy Mail and Unforgettable. The circle banner dies and square stitched die are from Lil'Inker Designs. The chevrom pattern paper is also from Lil'Inker. The seniment 'from all of us' is from Paper Smooches, We Adore You.

I stamped all the images with black ink from Memento and colored them with Copics. I added a hint of Wink of Stella to the party hats. Cardstock is a mix from Recollections and Papertrey Ink. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh!

Next card, I used the inspiration picture  from Paper Smooches Picture Perfect Challenge

and I followed the sketch from showCASe your style

and the color palette from The Paper Players...

I used three stamp sets from Paper Smooches, Seniment Sampler, Word Salad and Knick Knacks. The stitched square die and pattern paper is from Lil'Inker Designs. The enamel dots are from My Mind's Eye.

I stamped the rocking horse with Memento black ink and colored with Copics. Than added a bit of Wink of Stella.
